Agility and Business Adaptability – a Concept Not Every Business Understands
7 March 2024
Business Agility is different from what you expect! If you have seen or heard of Agile, you may think that it’s all about “stand-ups”, “story cards”, and “2-week sprints”. It’s not these things! Agility is about working collaboratively, being aware of your situation, and making informed decisions focused on success. Being able to respond to events and market conditions is the definition of agility in action, and it has escaped from the IT department!
Understanding how to be responsive and adaptive is vital to any modern organisation. The rate of change in our market conditions, our customers and our delivery approaches is increasing, so leveraging how the principles and practices of agility allow you and your organisation to navigate these changes successfully is a requirement of any leadership team.
This session will explore the concepts associated with agility in the business context and grow your understanding of what agility means outside the IT department and what it means to you as a modern leader.
